PALMYR X will be hosted jointly by the Institut Jean Nicod (IJN) and the Institut d'Histoire et de Philosophie des Sciences et des Techniques (IHPST). All talks will take place in the meeting room at the École Normale Supérieure, Pavillon Jardin, 29 Rue d'Ulm, on the ground floor of the building. The meeting will start on Friday at 14:45.
Note: Not only that Kit Fine is our keynote speaker, but there will be a Kit Fine feast around the PALMYR meeting. On Friday, 20 May, between 11:00 and 13:00, he will give a talk in the Jean Nicod Colloquium, entitled "Counterfactuals without Possible Worlds". The location is the same as for the PALMYR meeting. For those of you who stay over the weekend, there will be a third lecture at IJN, on Monday, 23 May, from 14:00 to 16:00, in the Salle des Actes at the École Normale Supérieure, 45 Rue d'Ulm, entitled "The Possibility of Vagueness". You are cordially invited to attend all these lectures. Kit Fine's visit was made possible by Paul Egré's ANR project "Cognitive Origins of Vagueness".
