Venue
TbiLLC 2023 takes place at the Hotel Zuzumbo Resort & Spa in Telavi (see location). Telavi is about 90 kilometers north-east of Tbilisi and is the main city of the Kakheti region.
Accommodation
Hotel rooms at the Zuzumbo Resort & Spa must be booked via the booking form linked below. The online booking system on the hotel’s webpage is not reliable. Prices per person per night for single/double/triple occupancy are 95/60/55 euro including breaksfast and lunch.
Other accommodation options in Telavi can be booked via websites like booking.com.
Transport to Telavi
Locally organized bus transfers
There will be two buses organized by TbiLLC leaving from Tbilisi (on Sunday, September 17, 17:00) and from the airport (on Monday, September 18, 05:00am). If you wish to reserve a seat on one of these buses, please indicate it in the booking form below.
For returning, there will be a bus from Telavi to Tbilisi departing Friday afternoon after the last talk. To indicate your interest in the transfers from Telavi to Tbilisi / airport after the symposium, please fill in the Return Transport form at the bottom of this page. The trip from Telavi to Tbilisi Airport takes ca. 2 hours.
The pick-up/drop-off location in Tbilisi for these bus transfers is expected to be somewhere near the Big Bicycle Monument on Rose Revolution Square.
The cost of these locally organized bus transfers are included in the registration fees. Other transfers must be arranged and paid for by participants themselves.
Other transport options
Regular public buses and minibuses to Telavi depart from Ortachala Bus Station in Tbilisi daily between 08:00-18:00.
It is also possible to get a taxi to Telavi from the airport, or from Tbilisi. The cost should be around 50 Euros (equivalent in Georgian Lari - GEL). A very convenient way to order a taxi is via a smartphone app Bolt (requires internet connection when used): https://bolt.eu/
